Have you ever lost a body part? or had a very damaged organ?

Due to recent research you can now print these lost organs onto and into your body so you can live a better life… but how did they stumble across this invention that has the potential to change the way we live our lives?

Think of the possibilities that could be achieved, could we be having much more immune, strong, and livelier bodies?

Could we be able to have a stronger chance of invincibility and more efficiency, and could we recreate a body?

Yet this menacing thought was actually discovered in the 1980’s! particularly 1984 when a man called Chuck Hull invented “Stereo lithography” which used UV lasers to solidify photopolymer that created 3D parts layer by layer.

The Various Uses:

The various uses of bio-printing have been made to approach various medical cases, so once again the people have another opportunity to live healthier, and have the chance to live longer and have a better life than before with any damaged or unhealthy organ in their body.

In addition to that, 3D organ printing might extend or expand the human lifespan exponentially as organ failure has caused 121,678 individuals to wait in line for a willing organ donor, but even that organ donor might not be able to help due to genetic, disease, blood or compatibility restrictions.

Although many breakthroughs have been made in the field of 3D Organ Printing, there are some challenges that science is yet to overcome such as making the printed organ mimic real organs than being a bulk of cells.

But what’s the secret behind making these organs or like the materials so they can be able to make real organs?

Materials for 3D printing usually consist of alginate or fibrin polymers that have been integrated with cellular adhesion molecules, which support the physical attachment of cells.

Finally, in my conclusion, I would like to highlight the ethical debate that is going on about this subject. Some people say that it’s a loss of 100$ billion per year and the people do not deserve any organs from printing because they spend a lot of money on making it but others say the opposite which, for sure, is 100% worth to make a male/female happy once again and replace their organs with new ones to make their life better, healthier and longer once again.

People like these scientists have magnificent ideas for example this idea which is the 3D organ printing to help the people with damaged or unhealthy organs in their body so they can replace it with a new one, then once again they can live happy again and have a better life so of course the people shouldn’t be against this because it’s not about spending billions of dollars per year it’s about saving lives and 3d printing organs for them.

Never Again

Do you have a relative that has paralysis? Or maybe a close friend? If you do then you know how much it changes a person’s life, imagine not being able to move your hand again, or never being able to move your right leg anymore, that is what paralysis does, but what if we can reverse paralysis?

Grégoire Courtine is a man with many talents, however he decided to chase technology that could reverse paralysis, his research included a monkey and a treadmill, he used a blade on the monkeys spinal cord so he could paralyze his right leg, then he put it in his mind to make the monkey walk again so he implanted the monkey with technology that read the minds signal and sent it to a receiver planted on the spinal cord, it would read what the monkey wanted to do and sent it to the spinal cord using wireless signals,  “The monkey was thinking, and then boom, it was walking,” said Courtine after he made a paralyzed monkey walk again.

A man in Cleveland completely paralyzed allowed a couple of researchers to try the experiment on him. after fitting the man with a recording device in the head, almost the same as the one used on the monkey, and slid more than 16 fine electrodes in the man’s arm, he was able to move his arm a bit and open and close his hand and with time he was able to life a drink with a straw to his mouth and drink from it.

When I was  young child in school I met a guy you was completely paralyzed, however he was one of the most significant minds I have ever met, he was a genius and extremely talented however he could only move his head, he had such power and talent he wanted to unleash on the world to make it better, however he was limited, the very privilege of walking, eating by himself, or even using the bathroom by himself, he was limited however, with the technology develop from reverse paralysis, he could walk again, he could be a whole person again.

We are in the dawn of technology, and with the electric capacity at hand we can surly avoid the horror the paralysis is, research facilities from all around the world are working hard to cure and reverse paralysis, imagine a world without it, that’s the future we wish to make.

Reward Education

School days are the most important days of your life, they are the days that teach you to interact, the days that teach you to meet new people, the days that you learn to have responsibilities, the days that will slowly mold you into the person you’ll eventually become. Though kids in school don’t know this or think about this a lot, but to have good morals and good intentions to a kid is hard, in their mind, you give a little, you receive a little. Kids these days need to know the importance of this and need to know why this is important.

Kids in school will only think about holidays and weekends, because schools have gotten so boring, education should be fun, it should give them other ways to relate to what their learning, it should be taught in different places, with a different mindset, not all students learn in one way. They should have many courses and options.

Prizes should be awarded to the students, or a vacation for the class if they reach the specific goal, students suggestions should be heard, even if it’s a simple request, then it’s easier to fulfill and it would mean a lot to them, a lot of students recommend trips, trips are made but not enough, they should have a day off once a month to go skiing, or swimming, or having fun at the beach or in a mall. These will make students happier and they will build connections with the teachers.

This will encourage students to get high marks, because in the end, there is a reward waiting for them. When the students do travel and do get good grades, you’ll have two things, happy and satisfied people, and other schools willing to try this. Rewards are rare in this modern day and age, the only kids who get awards are the spoilt ones.

I know many people that get straight A’s and just get a pat on the back with a little “Good job”, and people that get a 60 average and get a 400,000 AED car, not just is this unfair, but other students will start to nag and complain.

In conclusion, rewards are really important in a student’s life, it makes them feel appreciated, it makes them feel good, it boosts the moral, and it would make the world of education a better place for generations.

Snowing and Floating Villas in Dubai; Heart of Europe Project

The Heart Of Europe is the first project of its kind. It’s building Europe on six islands 2 miles off the coast of Dubai where each island has one main hotel or a group of hotels and each hotel represent a country in Europe. Switzerland island, this island made a huge reputation to the developers of the project “Kleindienst Group” not because of the classic Swiss culture or the amazing architecture that it will include but the developers claim that it will snow throughout the day in this island. There isnt a specific date on when this island will be ready to have vistors or customers.

The Nuclear City

April 26 1986 saw one of the world’s worst nuclear incidents.  It was when reactor 4 of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded. This disaster caused 30 men to lose their lives, and 600,000 people were forced to abandon their homes due to the radioactive clouds that covered the area. Chernobyl was a small city near the borders of Belarus in Russia, it was famous for its nuclear reactor plant which gave energy and its Las Vegas style of design. After the incident occurred Chernobyl is now seen as a ghost town, which no one can gain access to because of its hostile environment which scientists stated that will last about 20,00 years. So what caused this horrific accident? It simply was identified as a design flaw. But the real disaster was what the explosion resulted. Now Chernobyl is inhabitable due to the high radiation rates of the area. All the green life that was in the area is dead and any vegetables or fruits that were left can be salvaged due to their radio activeness. Animals within a 30km range were affected which lead to high mortality and decrease of reproduction to those species. The authorities of the Soviet Union and, later, of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) spent huge resources to deal with the consequences of the accident. Efforts were made to clean up contaminated areas and to reduce the amount of radioactivity in food and drink with varying degrees of success. In the year of the accident, a shelter was built to contain the damaged reactor. The shelter has some imperfections because it was built quickly and under very difficult conditions, as the construction personnel was being exposed to severe radiation levels. The economy of Chernobyl was hit badly by the incident since the labor force had all left. Some interviews with the survivors and people who live by show how bad the incident was. This is what Yuvchenko said when e was asked how it happened “There was a heavy thud,” he says. “A couple of seconds later, I felt a wave come through the room. The thick concrete walls were bent like rubber. I thought war had broken out. We started to look for Khodemchuk (his colleague) but he had been by the pumps and had been vaporized. Steam wrapped around everything; it was dark and there was a horrible hissing noise. There was no ceiling, only sky; a sky full of stars.” A stream of ionizing radiation was shooting star wards, like a laser beam. “I remember thinking how beautiful it was. “You don’t feel anything at the time,” he explains. “We had no idea there was so much radiation. We met a guy with a dosimeter and the needle was just off the dial. But even then, we were still only thinking ‘Rats, this means the end of our careers in the nuclear industry. We all thought, ‘We’ve been exposed now, this has happened on our watch’ and set about doing what we could. After about an hour, I started to vomit uncontrollably. My throat was very sore.” By 6am, he could no longer walk. He was taken to the local hospital. Still he had no idea of the huge hit of radiation he’d received. “We were thinking we might have had 20, perhaps 50rem. But there was a man there who’d been involved in a nuclear accident in the submarine fleet, he said it was more serious than that. ‘You don’t vomit at 50,’ he said. “At the hospital, they worked out (through measuring the fall in his white blood-cell count) that he’d received 410rem – or as it’s now since been styled, 4.1Sv (one Sievert is equal to 100rem) – a measure of the absorbed dose of radiation per kilogram of body weight. Chernobyl is still considered one of the worst nuclear accidents to recent history.

Exoplanet Discovery: Seven Earth-Sized Planets Found Orbiting a Nearby Star

On February 20 2017, Nasa made an announcement that they have discovered 7 earth sized planets only 40 light years away. They said that 3 of them are in the habitable zone, meaning we could potentially find signs of life there. “The researchers hope to know whether there is life on the planets within a decade,” Amaury said. “I think we’ve made a crucial step in finding out if there’s life out there,” he said.

Astronomers reported a year ago, that they found the nearby star, which they called Trappist-1, but while looking through the telescope, they found what looked like 3 shadows crossing the sight of the star every once in a while. After observing, and recording for 21 days, they found out that there are not 3, but 7 earth sized planets that are circling the star.

Nasa said that the orbiting period for the planet ranges from 1.5 days, to 20 days, unlike our planet which takes 365 days to orbit the sun. “This is really something new,” Ignas Snellen, an astrophysicist at the Leiden Observatory in the Netherlands said. “When they started this search several years ago, I really thought it was a waste of time. I was very, very wrong.”

The structure of the planets and the sun suggest that it was formed deep in the milky way galaxy, but it was pushed inward, and was stuck. The planets are so close to each other and the star, that there are seven of them within a space five times smaller than the distance from Mercury to our sun. Standing on the surface of one of the planets, you will get 200 times less light than from the star, but you will also get the right amount of energy to keep you warm.

Although 40 light years doesn’t sound a lot, it would take us millions of years to reach the planets, that’s why in 2018, the James Webb Space Telescope will be launched, and positioned 1 million miles away from earth to get a good view of the exoplanets. Are we alone in this universe? Well soon enough that question might finally get its answer.

Changing the Concept of the Driver

A lot of engineers and scientist are working on having self-driving trucks to prevent deadly accidents by drivers, this invention will help people stay safe especially on high ways, engineers are saying that this invention will take 5 to 10 years for it to get released this invention is known as (auto drive) not only trucks will have this kind of feature but also cars.

First I would like to say that this invention will make us drive in comfort because many people panic when they see huge trucks driving next to the due to the accidents that happen nowadays so we should look forward for this, but I don’t think we should trust it so much because one error can be a threat for many lives there is multiple of trials that happened and it didn’t end up well either the car got destroyed or the car crashed into the wall but I think when the it will get released it will help us a lot.

Basically this invention has a negative side and positive side, the negative is that many people work on transporting stuff, and that’s the only job they can get, but still some of those people are reckless drivers so this will have an effect of some people, because there will be no jobs for those people so in this case it’s a negative and about, the positive side it will comfort most of us and make huge package transportation easier and safer.

They should make so many trials about this invention because it can either help people or kill people, now about helping people it can help transport huge amount of stuff in an easy and safe way, so engineers and scientist are saying that this will be hard and difficult for them to do such thing and they don’t when can they release it some say they need five to ten years because they still don’t have the technology needed, so they should still figure out how can they make a car go to the destination you without accidents happen and they should make sensors for them so the car can know when to stop or when to slow down.

I will love it if they release such a thing because it will prevent big accidents to happen, but still I think in the truck it should have two options the self-drive or manual drive, so in this case it can prevent one of the disadvantages to not happen and actually keep peoples job, everyone would like to see a car driving on its own because it will be a great achievement for the humans nowadays.
